WEI Weijie

Weijie WEIis alecturerworking at the China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing. He wasBored in 1991, Hebei, China, and received his BA and PhD at Chongqing University and China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing in 2015 and 2021. He was a visiting research student at the West Virginia University from 2019 to 2020. He has a long experience in Longwall Top Coal Caving (LTCC), including top coal caving theory, drawing mechanism considering the size distribution of top coal, high recovery technologies for complex conditions. He presided 1 project funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project funded by Key Laboratory of Safety and High-efficiency Coal Mining, participated in more than 10 National Key R&D Program and enterprise cooperation projects. He has won 4 first prizes, 7 second prizes and 1 third prizes of provincial/industry associations for scientific and technological progress. He has published more than 30 papers in high-level journals, 1 academic monograph (ranked 2nd), authorized 14 national invention patents and 6 software copyrights.
